Wellhead Scanning 'AS Founding'

Ferrier Engineering were engaged to create a digital twin model for a wellhead and associated pipework for use by the client to engage various third-party designers to repair and modify pipework in the system.

3D laser scanning technology was used to generate 1:1 scale point cloud which was used to build up a 3D model.

Building a highly accurate 'digital twin' allows design modifications to be made to the system with a high degree of confidence. The model can be leveraged by other parties to fast-track design changes.
