Deliverables: Post-processed 3D Scan Data of the screw conveyor and surrounding area, fabrication drawings for screw transition and mounting assemblies.

Description: Ferrier Engineering was engaged by TSM Engineering to draft multiple screw conveyor transitions (transitioning from an inclined rectangular outlet to a DN200 screw casing). To guarantee against any delay during the installation / site modification the site was scanned, using a Faro Focus3D X330 laser scanner. The exact transition dimensions were determined by overlaying the modified geometry on the 3D ‘point cloud’.

Ferrier Engineering took full control of all stages of the design process, including 3D scanning, post-processing of scan-data, importing scan-data in CAD package, 3D modelling and detailing of fabrication drawings.
